Petitions are used to accomplish several things. Eventually there will be the traditional "petition dump" on DC when we are so strong they cannot ignore us.

Until then, when petitions are sent back to Houston we data enter them, we add them to email updates, etc and then send local leadership member list updates so they can find more volunteers, etc.

Right now we're really working on building awareness of the FairTax in every area so no matter who gets elected, the district is for the FairTax. An absolutely vital part of that educational process involves a person signing a petition. Otherwise we'd have no way to give them updates and get them involved.

Thanks for your efforts!

Aaron Schutte

Note: Be sure to carry FairTax information cards and petitions with you as you explain the FairTax. Stay in touch with your CC or DD and turn your petitions in to them.

Second, FairTax.org is a bipartisan – really a nonpartisan – organization with the objectives of educating both citizens and their elected officials about the merits of the FairTax and advocating the enactment of the FairTax Plan which includes the repeal of the 16th Amendment.
