Americans for Fair Taxation has reorganized and plans to really step up to the plate and get the FairTax moving forward again. We now have two rallies scheduled that can really have an impact.
The first rally will be at the Koger Center of the University of South Carolina in Columbia on Tuesday, May 15th. There is a presidential candidate debate on Fox News that evening ... and the rally will be held before the debate to show support for the FairTax. Neal Boortz will be there!
The second rally will be in Ames, Iowa on Friday, August 10, the day before the Iowa Republican Party straw poll. Remember, if you come to Iowa for the rally, you will be able to stay over on Saturday and vote in the straw poll. The idea here is twofold ... to present the FairTax to the media and the public with a huge rally drawing supporters from all over the midwest --- and to hold the candidate's feet to the fire. My hope is that the candidate who favors the FairTax will be the candidate who wins the poll. It's time to apply some pressure!
